• Localization Specialist

Freelance
I have been working as a freelance localization specialist since returning from Australia, focusing on a wide range of content for different platforms and industries, including software, mobile apps, websites, marketing materials, and games. Over the years, I have contributed to various localization and LQA projects of different scales, from small updates to large, ongoing products.
I have experience handling projects from the very beginning — creating term bases, supporting teams, and performing regular quality checks to ensure consistency. For other projects, I joined in later stages, adapting quickly to established styles and terminology. This flexibility has given me strong insight into the challenges of localization across diverse domains and the skills to deliver high-quality, culturally appropriate content.

I supervised the marketing document distributors on the field. I was responsible for making daily plans, tracking and recording work hours, creating records.

I started working as a translator and after one month also took on the duty of project manager. I gained experience in technical, finance, information technologies, agriculture, game and app localization, website localization, academic areas.
As project manager, I managed multiple projects with between 2 and 8 translators.
Apart from gaining experience in mentioned areas, I also improved my interpersonal skills as I was always in contact with clients and other translators.

• Translator

Aton Prodüksiyon
I worked as a freelance subtitle and dubbing translator. For subtitling, I was responsible for transcribing the video and translating the text; then embedding the subtitles on the videos. For dubbing, I transcribed and translated the text, then put on timecodes for the voice actors.
By working as a freelance translator while still a student, I improved my time-management skills early on. Most of the time I worked with tight schedules to deliver the subtitles in time for airing.
